• Power, gas & consumption:

The Ripack 3000 delivers adjustable thermal power, typically between 45 – 80 kW, with an adjustable working pressure of 1.5 to 3.5 bar. Gas consumption varies depending on settings and gas type, typically between approximately 3.0 – 5.5 kg/hour on propane. We recommend propane gas (or bio-propane) for optimal performance. Use with natural gas is possible with a modified kit/version (otherwise less power). Butane is not recommended.

• Patented cold nozzle & Securipack safety:

The unique cold nozzle ensures that the tube remains relatively cool after use, reducing the risk of burns. The integrated Securipack system continuously monitors gas pressure and automatically shuts off the gas supply in case of a hose rupture or irregularity, for maximum user safety.

• Ergonomics, power, and mobility:

The Ripack 3000 is lightweight and ergonomically designed with a handheld weight of approximately 1.25 kg. Additionally, this shrink gun is well-balanced in hand and suitable for long-term outdoor or indoor use. The burner nozzle rotates 360° and is detachable. Extensions up to 187 cm are also available for working at height or on large surfaces.

The power is continuously adjustable, allowing you to quickly switch between thin film/small packages and thick shrink sleeves or large pallets. Due to the short, stiff flame and targeted heat distribution, the film shrinks quickly and evenly, leading to higher productivity. The shrink time is often 30–90 seconds depending on the pallet and film.

• Noise level & environment:

The Ripack 3000 shrink gun has a noise level of less than 85 dB(A) depending on configuration and gas pressure. In addition, by choosing the right gas and settings, combustion behavior can be optimized, which is better for the environment.

Usage tips

• Hold the gun at a distance of about 30 cm and work in smooth, continuous movements; adjust speed to film thickness.
• For pallet shrinking: start at the bottom and work upwards in a Z-pattern. Allow 20–30 cm of film to overlap for strong edges and a good seal.
• Use the correct gas pressure setting (1.5–3.5 bar) and test on a trial pallet first.
• Regularly check Securipack safety (according to the manual: test intervals and maintenance requirements).
